Research and Planning Tasks: Task 1:  History In the mid-60s, US soul singer James Brown developed a new style of music called  funk . In soul music the melody and lyrics are central, but in funk the rhythmic  groove  is central. The main stress in a funk rhythm is on the first beat of the bar, called "the one", and a repeated pattern of drum beats and bass lines that begins on the one creates a groove. Riffs played by guitars and horn-sections add to the groove, and rhythmic vocals and raps can be added as well. A funk groove can continue for a long time without  chord  changes, and funk songs in the 60s often lasted for ten minutes or more. By the early 70s, nightclubs called  discos  were employing  DJs  to play dance  tracks  because it was cheaper than hiring a band. At first they played funk and up-tempo soul tracks, but in the mid-70s they started playing tracks with a new rhythm that was easier to dance to. Minecraft is a sandbox video game created by Swedish game designer Markus "Notch" Persson, later fully developed and published by Mojang, a company he founded. The creative and building aspects of Minecraft allow players to build with a variety of different cubes in a 3D procedurally generated world. Other activities in the game include exploration, resource gathering, crafting, and combat. Multiple gameplay modes are available, including a survival mode where the player must acquire resources to build the world and maintain health, a creative mode where players have unlimited resources to build with and the ability to fly, an adventure mode where players can play custom maps created by other players, a spectator mode where players can freely move throughout a world without being affected by gravity or collisions, and a hardcore mode, where the player is only given one life. Treatment- The Follower

Title:  'The Follower' Format Description:  Serial – 8 episodes which are roughly 45 minutes long Logline:    Mysterious murders have been accruing thought the village but know one knows why! Simply because know one is paying any attention to what's going on.   Description:   In a small town full of familiar faces that seems so perfect really isn't since the towns death rate has risen. the series follows his life and  classmates  trying to find out who is killed there friend, the people who get close to finding out get killed. Little do the teens know that their class mate murdered their friend. Know one has been paying much attention to this figure. Therefore know one knows the reason why people are dying . You won't realise it ....  but it's there … this demon... once you know about it... it will be following you...

The Follower- TV Drama Opening

Here is my tv drama opening called The Follower that I created with my friend Lily. Lily was in charge of directing and I was in charge of editing. The whole tv drama is about a psychopath killer who is also a 16 year old boy who goes to school and no one knows that he is killing people. It follows his life and fellow classmates of his trying to find out who their friend and what my character knew that she wasn't meant to know, and the people who get close to finding out get killed. Little do the teens know that their class mate murdered their friend. I really enjoyed creating this with Lily and I am really proud of how it turned out.
